RAID Data Recovery Service

Do you need a data recovery from a RAID system? Are multiple hard drive failures being reported from your RAID 5 array? Is the file system inaccessible? Has a rebuild been started and failed? Have both disks drives in your mirrored pair crashed?

Altirium’s RAID data recovery service gives you the best option for the recovery of your data. Whether you have a RAID 5 with two drives off-line or a NAS device to which you cannot connect, Altirium’s RAID data recovery experts will recover your data.

Altirium’s free RAID data recovery diagnosis means that not only will your RAID or NAS, be worked upon by a RAID recovery expert with many years of experience, but until the diagnosis is completed and a report produced detailing what data can be recovered and the costs for the work, the process has not cost you anything

RAID Data Recovery Service

RAID with error correction and/or mirroring is used to allow large volume of data to be stored with additional protection so that you should not need to call upon the services of a RAID Data Recovery specialist such as Altirium. Unfortunately, RAID protection is not foolproof. Disks will fail, and two disks becoming unavailable in a RAID 5 array will render it useless, people will delete files and the RAID hardware can just go wrong.

RAID is a methodology that provides a variety of combinations of data storage capacity, performance and data security for a myriad of applications. From the RAID 1 simple mirrored pair up to the complex error correcting RAID configurations of RAID 5 and beyond RAID is with us in desktop systems, main server storage, and NAS devices.

Data Recovery from a RAID system can vary from examining the data to determine the configuration information, or be as complicated as dealing with a missing disk combined with a partial RAID rebuild.

The work required to recover data from a failed RAID can vary depending upon the type of RAID system being used. RAID 0 data recovery is typically required when one or more disks fail. RAID 5 data recovery is much the same except in that there is at least to potential to rebuild missing data. RAID 1 data recovery usually results from the development of bad sectors, or both disks in the mirrored pair failing.

If you have a problem with your RAID disk array now is the time to stop and take stock. Altirium have data recovery experts on hand to give NO OBLIGATION advice, an assessment of the problem, what can be done to sort it out and, if required, to recover the data from your RAID.

Altirium’s RAID hard disk drive data recovery service is founded upon a strong technical understanding of both the hardware, the different levels of RAID organistion, and the file systems used for file storage. At Altirium's software development lab, in the UK near London, RAID data recovery utilities are created and tested to give absolute control of the data recovery process from the recovery of data from the disk drives up to the eventual recovery of the data files. This means that, once the data from a hard disk or RAID has been secured, it is examined thoroughly by an experienced specialist who can readily identify any problems before any attempts to recover files are made. This ensures that the data recovery process is undertaken in a controlled and professional manner and that the most complete recovery will be achieved.
